    Wake up call?

Was yesterday's result a wake up call or the start of a blip? For me it was a wake up call given that we played well enough in the first half but were wasteful at one end and, in the second half, sloppy at the other.

It probably was, and IMHAHO, it couldn't have come at a better time.

Not really. It was a game where one team needed a result and the other didn't.

If we play like we did yesterday we won't be going anywhere.

In terms of where we're at going into the play offs, I don't think we should fixate too much on one game which had a unique set of circumstances.

Since the day Ross left, the record is W5 D1 D1 with the best goals per game ratio in the league during that period but only the 7th best defence.

PPG table post Ross (from 3rd May) with all clubs having played 5-7 games during that time.....

    1. Solihull Moors 2.71
    2. Bromley 2.33
    3. Notts 2.29
    4. Chesterfield 2.17

    Stockport are 9th, Torquay 12th, Hartlepool 13th.

Very true you have to play well in the playoffs to progress. Question is who can impose themselves on the opposition more? Stop them playing.

    Can't wait to find out.

Yeah, just one to forget about.
Let IB draw any lessons from it that he can, but I don't think there's anything big or general to take from it - apart from the importance of taking your chances

We pretty much dominated the game, we just didn't score. I'm not concerned
