Nae FN chance mate .All i will say is there are warning's from history. When Houston walked most of us backed ST.I will not allow Mellon to be portrayed on here as the villain of the piece because that is not true.
Anyone trying to sway the fans in that direction are lying through their back teeth, just guessing or adding 2 and 2 together and getting 5,FACT.

Go watch that Man City documentary (I think its on Amazon Prime) and you see how it works. Pep is needing a centre half, he tells Tixi to go find him one. Tixi identifies Laporte, and does all the signing talks etc. Pep concentrates on the training field, he isn't flying all across Europe watching dozen of matches trying to find the right guy.
Im not hearing much that says that there is much collaboration on signings.

Im gonna decline the invite to watch the Man City thing, as it just doesnt interest me, but you are pointing towards something that is shown to work with results on the pitch, and our situation has people expressing serious cause for concern. The thing with the market that Man City are in, players like Laporte are not entirely unknowns to the likes of Pep and i expect he knew a fair bit about the lad before the team around Tixi did all the work to fill in the gaps.

From what i read on here alone, i think Tony has taken his role too far and has more of an eye on the future profit, rather than achieving a balance in the team to provide a good foundation to maximize that profit.

Phukk right off with that sh*te G. Mellon’s been planning his move away from United since two months into his very very short tenure, he’s a phukkin Judas. Giving it the ‘I’m Going to be here until someone tells me otherwise” phukkin wan- kstain. The first interview when he dropped the fake “we are Dundee United” should have had us all on alert that he wasn’t going to hang about, and nobody was critical of Fat Tony then

Yes Melon managed to avoid relegation, but with some of the sh*te in that league last season it would have been criminal had he not. Yes he got us to a semi final, then phukkin bottled it at Hampden. Not putting the young lads on in the second half showed us Melon hadn’t a phukkin clue. I’m Glad he’s gone, I saw better football under Shabba phukkin Lazlo.

I’ll be following his career from now on, and will cheer every defeat he suffers the same way I do with The Fun. He tried to take the kunt, phukk Mickey Melon 😡

I take it you wont be paying any attention to the decline that eventually followed Houston's departure, which culminated in selling the assets, relegation, and eventual fire sale of anyone with a hint of a talent! At least it will be quicker this time!

Someone really has is in for TA at the moment and it would be great to know the who and why of it. As things stand it's damaging for TA and the club.
