Interesting. On the topic of opposition players who catch the eye, Bush from Bromley seems a good player - rugged defender but good in possession and has a great long throw.

Were my eyes deceiving me, or were Bush and IB deep in discussion walking off the pitch yesterday? I can swear that's what I saw

Didn't see that but if true I hope they weren't talking about the weather!

Well there will be room for him as Turner will definitely be leaving.

He's definitely got something about him, sets the tone for them and dominates his area of the pitch
His background is all non-league, but maybe at 28 some players reach a peak which is higher than that level.
Three clubs who had him on loan (Wimbledon, Hereford, Lincoln) then signed him permanently later on. Doesn't seem like a player who can give many years continuous service in 1 place, but can be booster for a season or two. Good shout by Driller, anyway.

Hartlepool v Bromley just kicked off if anyone wants to do a bit of scouting.

All Hartlepool so far, looks like Bush will have plenty of defending to do.

He's having a 'mare' so far.

    Yep I have to agree.

Bromley will be gutted - they're not as good as Hartlepool and would've probably expected to lose, but they just haven't turned up at all. 3-0 at half time and it could've been more.

Glad we don't have to play Hartlepool at their place.
