It read awfully though.
That's aboot right . He says " only care about now and building a proper sustainable football club and will take any schite from opposite fans and media but not from our own who don't respect this is not an overnight change." Which is fair enough.
The messages were pre pandemic February 2020. Top of the championship and the business model was looking pretty good , going back into the top league , bigger crowd's, Shanks worth £3 million then Covid happen's.
Hate to think what kind of tweats would be going back and forward now if he was still on twitter. 😬

There’s got to be a degree of blind faith here as after all, what more can you do? The decision has likely been taken and for good or bad like any previous managerial incumbents we’ve got to give him the fans’ backing. Fundamentally we all want the same thing and putting all the controversy to one side we have to want him to succeed as then we’ll ALL be getting what we want from the Club. I can’t believe any reasonable United supporter would actively want him to fail as they were unhappy with the appointment process as that would totally be cutting off your nose to spite your face. We may have serious reservations about how this has come about but if this does come to pass we must give the guy a chance.

I can't help but think that we are just about to gamble the entire existence of our club with this appointment. I would also be concerned what this appoint will mean for player retention and our ability to sign players this season. We have certainly made what looks like being a tough league, a hell of a lot moree difficult! I just can't see this ending well.....I hope I am wrong!

Yeah, let's get one thing straight here. The beef is with Asghar and shouldn't be with Courts. If he gets the job he should be backed like any other Utd manager, and I will be firmly in that camp. If he then fails, Asghar better be ready for the biggest backlash our club has ever seen. God help that man if we end up relegated.

If he wins his first 20 games, the usual folk will still be demanding his is fired when he loses the 21st game.

Should be an interesting day today anyway, looking forward to it
