On the back of this you have groups going round the streets threatening our way of life. To quote the serving military are terrorist and will pay the ultimate price they will not be safe.
This happened on TV national news and is all over Twitter I’m awaiting the outcry from all concerned citizens.

If you think wearing the poppy has ever been banned by British footballing authorities you are very much mistaken.

There was an incident in 2016 where poppies looked to be banned from international events by FIFA but the rule was clarified after the FA challenged this and poppies are worn without issue.

So you've got muddled up, FA have always been on the side of wearing poppies. Poppies can be argued to be political, as indeed can BLM. Some people want to cherry pick.

Football fans do not like to be told they are racist.THIS IS THE LEAST RACIST COUNTRY THERE IS.However we have an adopted dodgy political organisation that the broadcasting channels misguidedly support. They will come to regret this when the truth behind BLM is finally revealed.KEEP POLITICS OUT OF SPORT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BLM is two things at once.

You are right, there is a group under the label BLM that makes marxist statements.

It is also, seperately, a global movement by people that want to live in a world where black people are treated equally - that do not have any affiliation to the group you speak of.

It is possible to be a conservative, while while nothing to do with the Conservative party - you get what I'm saying.

I'm not a Marxist, but like footballers around the country I support the idea and overall movement that black people shouldn't be treated unfairly for the colour of their skin, whilst not particularly caring for some of the varying groups attempting to use the BLM name with strategies and messages I do not necessarily support.

The poppy is a flower, sure. But its use by the British legion is, according to their website, "as a show of support for the Armed Forces community", which like it or not, is a political statement.

    This comment fascinates me.

On what basis have you come to this conclusion? What data have you assessed, what other countries have you visited?

This is one of the situations where most people would agree with the message but not the delivery, this is clearly divisive, some people are loving the discord. Stand up and do something that will encourage support from the majority.

I wouldn't boo even though I think its abhorrent, but I wouldn't cheer either for knee taking...I would support something else though
