There's an article in the Yorkshire Post where TS has confirmed the players have been furloughed "because they're not working."
He's said there are no underlying financial problems although relegation has initially cost between £2m and £3m.

    Things to remember

Some players have now left us so they aren't on the furlough scheme

The scheme covers wages so bonuses like scoring, appearance bonus or clean sheet bonus etc etc aren't included.

So easier to apply now rather than when the team still had games to play

And it's up to a maximum of £2500 per month and I imagine most of our remaining squad will be on more than that per week.

As Howdy has already pointed out, with regards playing staff this probably saves us 100K over 2 months (2x20x2,500) and we'll still be paying the rest of the wages. Better than adding 20 pounds to each season ticket (x5000) to recoup 100K?

He might even still do that.

That equates to just under 87p a game more over a season. Thing is, if he did it, someone would moan saying he's being greedy.

We've had no S/T price increases for years so if he brought one in, no one can really moan.

Do you seriously believe most of our players are only being paid £120k per annum or less?
