Thread: Every day the vaccine rolls out

  1. #1671
i was all for glasgow remaining in tier 3, million percent i was, it was protest after celebration after march after riot through there. No f ucks were given by the weeg

if Dundees cases continue to rise i dont see how we can avoid it, but as i said above, if we do end up in T3 then questions need to be asked about the vaccine and its effectiveness

Cant stay out of this any longer!

95 new cases identified in Dundee over the last 24 hours, cases per 100k at 318 with 475 cases identified 8th to 14th June, and quite a bit of what i am hearing is schools are at the heart of the spread!

On the good side, hospitalizations are not rising relative to infections so we may just have to level 2 a wee bit longer, but maybe we get to 85% one dose vaccinated and its PARTY TIME! Got to live with this at some point!

The link between cases and hospitilisations has clearly been broken yet here we are continuing to go round and round wondering why the hell we bothered getting a vaccination that was promised to be the 'way out'. I can honestly see 'caution' continuing into August and then the next one is that they'll start to get worried about those vulnerable groups who were first vaccinated needing booster shots and that we can't emerge from restrictions until that is then done. And so otherwise it just keeps going on and on and on and........................

Not safe until everyone is safe by vaccination for me is still key. But there is less than a million first dose to go, without counting the under 18s, and with booster dose testing started, i am a bit more positive that the end of restrictions is in sight.

I think we have just done 3.5% first doses in 8 days, so if uptake stays the same, nearly 95% of the population could have received that first dose in a month, and second doses could be above 75%.

My hope is that just in time for the League Cup games, all of Scotland is in level Zero, or even no restrictions!

August at the earliest. Straight from the horse’s mouth.
