Fair enough. Hope we’ve got someone decent lined up to replace all those minutes from this season.

To anticlough I know martins corner, we stay a little further down in benaulim. You must have been very unlucky with rain we hardly seen a drop in 20 years. Re thread doyle is a good shout as assistant, only hope hes not called on too often though hes been pretty decent since IB came in, re Sam, dont think he has the attitude or offers enough to warrent a place. Would also like to see Tshimanga fill space left by Enzio

Totally agree BFP. Lots of minutes and plenty of good perfomances, not easy to replace.

Yes laddo, how silly of me to forget about all those good performances.

Don't worry about it many do. For me he was consistently better than Reeves, JOB and any other central midfielder over the course of the season.

If he takes a backseat he will need adequately replacing. Not like for like obviously as one of the above two should step into his shoes whilst we hopefully get more legs and energy in that crucial part of the pitch.

That's a real coincidence then, our base was Benaulim - a really nice place for sure
It was August I think, the monsoon was a good experience. It was Palm Grove Cottages (had to look that up now), very jungly, and it rained so much it felt like the end of the world. After that we went to Candolim and spent an equal amount of time there. South Goa is much better.

Calm down Laddo. I was just giving you a bit of polite, constructive feedback. I don't struggle with this concept at all.

Of course they were separate incidents, they were in separate matches, but they were quite similar. Both incidents involved a Notts player giving the ball away in an attacking phase, and another Notts player not tracking an opposition player's run shortly after.

Your idea of who's to blame seems to depend more on the name on the back of a player's shirt than having a consistent opinion about a player's responsibilities.

I was just trying to be helpful by pointing out that the low esteem you seem to be held in on this board may be due to exactly this kind of glaring inconsistency in your pontifications (and subsequent refusal to ever recognise it) along with a quasi religious devotion to certain names (Ardley, Doyle), not forgetting of course the assertion that whoever disagrees with you must be thick (see above quote) or have some kind of an agenda.

    Thanks for your reply.

I must say that's quite a strong definitive conclusion to arrive at from a sample size of just two incidents lol.

Glad to hear you don't struggle with the concept but in all those words you didn't answer the question at the end of my post.

"Who do you blame more for that goal at Plainmoor Doyle or Knowles?"

And whilst we are only talking about 2 incidents you might as well do the same for the other incident. If you don't mind?

As you know mine were Sam for trying the fancy flick / turn when facing his own goal with the opposition right behind him. And Knowles for making s half hearted effort at best in the penalty area when marking (or not marking) Hall for the goal. But there are no right or wrong, just opinions. It's very subjective

    What about you?

I blame the referee for most of their goals at Plainmoor
