Absolutely! Kane being subbed was one of the biggest compliments they could've gave us. Gilmour is gonna be some player.

I've never been so pleased with a team that hasn't scored a goal nor won in two games. Might we qualify if we give Croatia a 1-0 hiding?

Portugal won Euro 2016 after drawing nearly every game,we are going down a new route of trying to win it without scoring, its a risky strategy i grant you.

Played very well, proud of our lads. All of them were great, Man of the match - SCOTLAND.

Hanley possibly the stand out for me and a special mention for O’Donnell who shut a good few pusses including mine.

Talk about shutting pusses anyone notice a difference with the English orientated media this morning To be fair they have been very complimentary about our team and fans. Hope abady behaved , gets home safely and the COVID does not spike .

    Quite a night that was.

PS young Gilmour, oyf what a player.

We cannot get above the Czechs in the group and can only get above England if we win, they lose and there is a 3 or 4 goal margin to take us above them on GD. Third place is our best hope and four out of six qualify so if we win and two groups have third place teams with less than four points or teams with four points and worse GD than us then we are through. A win is required a draw is no use we cannot qualify with anything other than a win even if two groups have their third place teams only on one point (or two) which is possible. A third place finish places us against the winners of Groups B, C or E.

Thanks Perth. Would 1-0 be enough or does it depend on Czeck v Inglind goals? Sorry I would look but a bit hungover.

Any win puts us on 4 points guaranteed and third place with a very very unlikely shot at second. We are then in the mix for one of the four third place qualification places. There are scenarios where we could be one of the two countries that lose out and wouldn't that be a typical (Argentina 1978 style) Scottish way to go out but it is more likely that 4 points would take us through. so a 1-0 win and hope for the best!
