It is hilarious. Their reaction is amazing and highly predictable too! Got their scapegoat now for not winning this tournament.

Such a warped sense of reality. Their over exuberance about 2018 is the best bit. Semi finals without playing a tough meaningful game. Even then penalties required. Everytime they played a decent team they lost. In my opinion they have not actually been a strong team under Southgate.

Pleasing to see they will blame us rather than their own failings and the facts (my facts at least)

2018 they actually somehow managed to get beat three times by two teams. I saw this morning that like 2018 they are again deliberating whether it would actually be better to finish 2nd in our group as the winners will face one of Germany, Portugal or France so 2nd may offer an ‘easier’ route. Their arrogance knows no bounds,it really doesn’t. But this time it doesn’t matter as their last 16 game will be tricky regardless. In the Euros ALL teams are of a decent level. There’s no pub teams to smash here.

Southgate has a problem. He'd maybe like to finish second in the group but in doing so he risks getting slaughtered by the press and fans AND maybe getting beaten by a so called lesser team in last 16.
He would also be risking a last minute Czech winner as well.
Think they will play to win.

It was the obvious choice and seeing as we need a win it might just have been the plan even before Gilmour's forced absence as Armstrong is a more forward thinking player and given the chance I hope he drives at them time and time again ��������������

His engine is fantastic, rarely coughs up easy possession and as we all know can create. If he plays well he'll cause them problems but he needs to be right on it.
