Is the starting eleven for this season looking any better than last seasons?
Despite all of Dave Cormack’s hot air, I don’t think it does.
I realise we'll never be crazy net spenders in the transfer market like either version of Rangers, nor probably ever neutral spenders. However, if we are ever to progress, surely when we rake in £5M as we did last season (£5M more than Hibs, Utd etc.) we need to give a good whack, 50%?, to the manager to spend. Imagine having £2.5M to hoover up McGrath, Boyle, Campbell and other worthwhile SPL players to start the process again. If that's not the model then what is, hope and pray for a golden generation of kids to break through and hang around for a few years?

    1 x power supply (1 x 13amp plug, 3 x metres cable, 1 x kettle-type connector)

Price: £30 from a friend of a friend who found them in his new flat’s cellar. Previous owner unknown, but Roger Waters not suspected.

They’re probably still languishing in Freightco’s shed in Kirkhill industrial estate.

He’s not a proven goal scorer in our league and there is a huge chance that he will be “homesick “ within 6 months and end up being loaned to Atlanta United by next year.
If Ramirez can't score goals in Scotland, he'll never score anywhere.

If we can't win with that lot then Glass should be sacked.

I agree though that we need more players but we have recruited so far and most teams around us haven't by the looks of it..

We’ve recruited but we don’t know how well we have recruited yet.

Gallagher is probably the best signing so far on paper anyway for being proven in the league and still a decent few years ahead of him.

The 2 strikers are not really proven in this league yet although Thomas looked decent against us for Livi.

    The boy Gurr is unknown.

Scott Brown may well bring a lot in terms of mentality etc but Im not expecting a mammoth contribution on the pitch from a 36 year old who’s been over the course and won everything domestically for many years .

We never know how well we've actually recruited. Every club is the same.
