I don't think you've grasped the comment you've quoted. He was replying to someone saying Butcher or Fuchs must be away if JDH is coming in. But logically that doesn't have to be the case as we need competition for places.

I get the comment, I just can't see us replacing experienced players with experienced players. I honestly think our squad will be streamlined and filled in with kids to make up the numbers.

That is exactly what i think, we are broke, and hopes or prays if we can get some kids in the side and they can show they can play at a decent level, he will get some money for them, why bring a manager that has never been tried or tested at a higher level, i honestly hope he does a great job, but it is one hell of a gamble to take, if we do not have nothing in place if this goes wrong, what a mess we could be in, lot worse than right now.

Didn't say we'd be relying on kids, I said the kids would be one's pushing the experienced players. Do you think we'll have 2 experienced players for every position this season? and if so then why did Courts get the job? He's the youth guru that's going to make Ogren loadsamoney isn't he?

I don't think we will, no. In some positions we will. Others we wont. Same as many squads across the world. I just think your sentence about youth guru and making money is just boring and a lazy way of looking at this appointment. Just my opinion though.
