He's perfectly entitled to do so, but we can only wait so long I guess. Seems a bit of a rash decision given we've apparently been tracking him for over a year, but we don't know what's gone on behind the scenes. Hopefully we haven't missed out on a gem here.

Won't help the boys rep that he has now messed two clubs about clearly waiting for something better. Assume he maybe wants to head back down to England. To be fair to him, league 1 is a similar level to the Prem up here and he'd probably get a hefty increase in wages. We'd probably all do the same. But when it affects United there is no leniency here - f uck him

aye defo, if player contracts end today and season starts in a matter of weeks, can we afford to wait on his deciding if our offer is good enough or not?
