One Roman was good for me Ronners, the Roman Hotel at Mexborough, at one time kept one of
the best pints of Magnet in the area.

I love the john Smith's magnet Elk, as session beers go it's my favourite, but cant remember the Roman Hotel buddy, I take it that it isnt there anymore?

Yes the Roman Hotel is still there Ronners, next to petrol station, top of Wath road at
Mexborough. I frequented it regular when working at Manvers pit complex.
Have not been in for some time, Magnet is still being sold in some pubs & clubs, but
absolute crap.
