Snub to season tic holders and making no attempt to get more fans in is also a kick in the bas.

At a time when they should be trying hard to keep fans on board they will turn a few into tv fans only......and we have loads of them already.

OK, if no one told John Nelms this was a bad idea, how is it all John Nelms' fault? If people who are close to him don't speak up then this type of mess is what happens. I am concerned that there is a very poor attitude towards our club developing at exactly the time that stuff on the field seems to be going right. We should be buzzing but it seems to me that all the comments about lack of interest in telling the fans why things are the way they are is having a very negative effect.
The guys who are pointing out the difficulties are doing the right thing imo, it is up to the club to try to communicate with the supporters.

You can't tell John Nelms he's wrong.

Your last point on communicating with fans is something they've never been good at.

I'm gonna duck out for a while as I'm totally hacked off with this and I am developing that attitude as you rightly say.

Last thing on this for me.

If the club ain't gonna make an effort to get more fans in the ground (this wouldn't include me as don't have season tic) and are prioritising anyone Linda Blair sees fit to prioritise why should I make the effort?

I got quite comfortable watching the games on the telly last year, far too comfortable.....I can't be the only one.

If DFC think there is gonna be a surge in fans coming back to the games when they are allowed (2023 for me) just cause fans are gagging to get back (don't think they are) I think they are in for a wee shock.

You cannot continually treat regular supporters like mushrooms and 2nd class fans without it slowly ebbing away at the "enthusiasm" to attend games.

Even if it's just a couple of hundred it's an error.

I'd be dissappointed if the foundation guys did not point out quite forcibly this wasn't right.....I wouldn't be surprised if they were ignored.

As Derranged has pointed out several times, they don’t seem to care much about the fans, our supporters club have been waiting over 18 months for a refund over £3k from a hospitality booking, made before Covid, you wouldn’t believe the amount of ignored emails, or the shyte and promises we have had, and we have been told only Nelms can sanction payments from the clubs accounts

    Alienating fans.

    Shocking.

I hesitated to make my post because I didn't want to appear to be shooting the messengers. Its like everything on social media, whatever anyone posts there is always another opinion. The consistent point is however the warnings about poor communications with the fans and what effect that will have on attendances. The club seems to be buzzing but on this forum there seems to be a much more pessimistic view. I think it can be turned around with some explanations, but there do appear to be other issues.

This season ticket holder doesn’t feel ‘snubbed’.

    Storm in a teacup.

The people who are negative towards the club will always find something to be negative about. They actively look for grievance. Similar in style to the SNP.

    Disgraceful if true.
