Can't believe you've overlooked our glorious victories in FA Youth Cup during the early seventies, the Bass Vase and the never to be forgotten all conquering team that swashbuckled its way to glory in the Isle of Man trophy Mick 😊 .

The song's about the game Ketts, not the trophy.
Do try and keep up old chap.😉

Non of my teams have ever won a cup semi final in the 50 years I’ve been watching football.

Losing to Ipswich in 78, QPR in 82, and Portsmouth latterly n the FA Cup and to Spurs in 82 in the League Cup semis as well as England losing in quarters and semis in so many tournaments from Mexico in 1970.

The only thing we’ve ever “won” is a play off final for the 3rd tier of English football.

The Italians “found a way” last night and that’s something we’ve never managed in my lifetime.

Due to my general stress and anxiety issues I won’t be able to watch the match live tonight, I feel I jinx things anyway.

I just hope that if we do lose that it’s not on penalties.

It’s the hope that’s the killer with Albion and England albeit the hope has left town in regards to Albion and spends its time residing in China and Jersey!
My old dad is the same he can’t watch the Albion on the telly live, makes him very anxious, he does sometimes come with me still to games and is fine watching live, I think I am getting a bit like it myself at times particularly last season v Wo1ve5’s as a prime example I had to spend quite a bit of time walking round the garden..
England is different tho I go into each game knowing we will mess it up, the hope was wrung out of me during the Sven and Capello years. Somehow I know this squad is different so far they haven’t turned me in to an angry gibbering wreck, yet…

I'm exactly the same as your dad. Cannot watch Albion live on TV. No problem when I'm at the game. Must be an age thing.

I'll watch Albion live but as soon as we go 1 goal down I generally switch off. If I find we have levelled I tend to switch it back on. I just cannot watch us lose on TV.

    I can't miss a game like this.
How about if we get to the final and someone asks you if you remember where you were when we beat Denmark?
Yes I remember it well, I was mowing the lawn.

Like Mick, i’m giving the game a miss.. just can’t bear the stress. Plus the game is on ITV, we always get knocked out there when we’re actually actually playing in the competition. Plus I could do less of Wright over rated confidence about England.

Relax and enjoy Smeichel trying to keep them out.

Early signs good - we carry a threat going forward. A few worrying mistakes from Sako, Philips and Pickford though.
