    Good news, good news and...erm...pointless

Jacob Murphy has signed a contract extension-decent squad player

Fernandez has too...our best CB after Lejeune

    and, um...so has Gayle.

Why exactly? He's below Prem standard to the extent that even Bruce doesn't fancy him and won't play him.

Cheaper than buying a new striker, hey?

im shocked that you're shocked mate!!

its Mike Ashley......... he didn't put a penny in when he had us, he certainly wont when he thinks he will sell us.

Ashley is up for the sale, i'm 100% convinced with that, if it goes through, we are cool and the gang, if it doesn't, Ashley will strip this club of every asset to get his moneys worth and see us into the conference league then sell once he has gotten his 300m

I was under the impression that Murphy and Fernandez have only been offered a one year extension and yet Gayle's is three years, what's the logic there ?

But at least the EPL will look after the interest of fans and spare us from potentially nasty new owners

It'll be the resale value. Free to go at end of this season, new contract means we can get something for him.

Also, cheaper to pay £3million ish in wages than the actual money it would cost to get a decent striker.
