    Alan Knill Leaves Sheffield United

Ex-Miller Alan Knill has left Sheffield United, after agreeing a severance package,
    with the board this week.
The 56 year old is a hugely popular figure at Bramall Lane, as assistant to
former manager Chris Wilder, going from division one to the premier league.
Alan Knill turned down a administrative position at the club.

Alan Knill leaving the Blades could I believe help the millers.
Rotherham United have no one on the board with football knowledge, in
buying & selling of players, contracts & valuation of players.

Like quite a few clubs in the lower EFL, why not appoint Alan Knill has Director
of Football, working with Paul Warne & his coaching staff, then reporting to
    the chairman & his board.
This could be the way forward in helping the club, & stop the silly mistakes,
that have happened in the past with decisions.

Brilliant coach knilly. I'd love him at RUFC. Highly doubt we'd offer him a deal sadly.

Alan Knill will just end up wherever Chris Wilder goes next.

Would make a great defence coach but think he’s overqualified

    Yes exactly, that's the intention.
Credit to Alan Knill on turning the non-coaching job down.
Always rated him as a coach and number 2 Assistant rather than a Manager.
Him and Wilder will be back when a suitable club is available.

I have a lot of time for Alan Knill.Would love to see him back at Rotherham but we seem to have a happy bunch that toe the line so no outsiders to rock the boat.

Do you still want Joey Barton as manager, or would you prefer Paul Warne, who as far as I am aware, has never been arrested for knocking a woman around. Or do you still think that Joey Barton has 'attitude'
