    Again, not true!
I just got it from Wikipedia to be fair....

“Ince returned to management on 28 October 2010, signing a three-year deal with Notts County.[48] On 3 April 2011 he left the club by mutual consent after losing a club record nine games in a row, including a 2–0 defeat to relegation rivals Oldham Athletic the day before”

Can we both agree that he was still truly awful?

The man was more interested in playing golf than playing football manager.

Didn’t Notts start training in the afternoon, so he could play golf in the morning?

Loved Ince as a player. But, apart from the odd good result, poor memories from him managing Notts.

Are you confusing Keith Curle and Paul Ince? Under Ince, we were in real danger of heading back to League 2 after a fairly average start under Craig Short (who absolutely shouldn't have been sacked when he was!) Paul Ince had the record at the time of something like 9 straight defeats (think Sheridan has that "honour" now?) Curle almost had us in the playoffs but we were playing absolutely turgid football under him

No he didn't, Carl Heggs and Martin Allen were each in charge for two of those nine defeats!

Well we could agree he certainly was not the best, but still far better than Ardley, over a similar amount of games , and a league higher
Even Fullartons stats are better than Ardleys, in worse circumstances circumstances ,when trew had put the club up for sale, and offered no money for transfers like hardy did

    Ince ( L1) P29 W10 D 6 L13 Win % = 34.5
    Fullarton (L2) P12 W3 D 1 L8 Win Rate = 25%
    Ardley ( L2) P26 W6 D 7 L 13 Win % = 23.1

Shows how truly awful Notts were , to be relegated from the football league

Davy posting about Ardley, well who would have thought it? Never change Davy, never change lol.

I think everyone will agree that we were truly awful, all season on and off the field.

Tbh any club being relegated from L2 to NL has to be awful surely?
