A couple of funny things from the meeting one which Affshore alluded to was Tony saying i know you call me Fat Tony but i don't mind, the wife calls me it now as well.

Tam said i know i'm 2/1 FAV in the sack race but my money is on Neilson. To be honest it was a very successful Q&A from what i have been told.

Does it make you feel a bit more confident in the regime, or do you still need a lot more convincing?

I would not say i'm more confident about our prospects but that could change for the better IF they manage to get even two quality signings into the squad.A few days ago i did say that i'm convinced they are trying to recruit good players and i really believe this to be true.
We have a very difficult opening set of fixtures and i can assure felow posters that it willl not be myself digging up the Courts out thread. That should only happen if we have had a disastrous first quarter.
The one massive difference between now and the end of the ST era is for various reasons we have not up till now sold our best assets. This means we still have a better NO9 and Keeper than most of our rivals.

Has TA's official nickname changed from The Big Man to Fat Tony?

He is no longer The Big Man,The Bandit or Fat Tony,at this particular time he is just Tony.

Tam remains Tam and is not Thomas.

I'm with you on the first quarter GB. Then will be the time to do our first stocktake. In three months' time we'll have played the other 11 once, 6 away, 5 at home. Last season we were on 12 points after playing the rest once & anything less than that this season might incur a bout of finger pointing.
Your second point, if we hold on to #1 & #24 we are indeed ahead of the previous regime.
