Never said it was him tbh. Was more tongue in cheek but cannot be a coincidence that 2 different managers with very different outlooks serve up the same pish. BAFFLING.

Apart from what's being discussed here the worrying things for me

    No tempo
    No cohesion
    No fluidity
    Long punts,loads
    Misplaced passes, dozens

And I thought this coach was head of technical excellence?
We were this bad before MM steadied the ship.

And that's the issue. Can Tam steady the ship like MM did with this bunch of no hopers playing for him? I doubt it.

We still don't have a clue what to do with a throw in.

last time two games against them home and away we set up better, four at the back and closing down

surely the least you expect from a new manager is some enthusiasm in the performance but its definitely soul destroying to see the three centre backs and two full backs when you have no creative players on the park

I want to give courts the benefit, I've no doubt a McInnes of what we needed but like any new man want to be behind them to see what they can do but at the same time what I heard on the radio is simply not good enough as I genuinely don't think the opposition are any great shakes and teams will go there and win this season, sounded like we went there, sat back, didn't close down and once they got the goal through a combination of offside/poor keeping that it was game over

last season we played really well in both visits to same ground and created plenty, think the first one Shankland was unlucky not to score 2/3 etc

so it's sobering that with no new outfield players but mulgrew (and not sure what he brings tbh) that we may have regressed, we will find out much more in the fans away to Ayr and St Johnstone than next week

although can't wait to get back to a game and get behind the team where everything is against us and a defeat is expected, kind of a free hit vs then chunts in their form of the last year but after that we we will see if we can improve from today, and of course let's hope new faces are in by then

This hits nail on head, I'm really worried about the first two, because that is arguably the only things along with a good goalkeeper that kept us up last season. The last three are just a carry over of last season because we are still carrying the exact same players with all the exact same flaws. First game of season you would expect some energy/tempo.

Like others, was willing to go with the “experiment”, but to have played basically the same team as last season, not only made no sense, but really p!$$ed me off! If the new direction is to give youth a chance then fecking do it. Have the management bottled it from recent feedback? If so, even more culpable, than ignoring the initial feedback from the fans when the the manager was appointed and intension was known! 😞
