True. But he's saying one thing and doing another-after just one game. If he sticks on the young boys tomorrow and we at least show a bit of promise then I'll be pretty chuffed. If he goes all Mellon and sticks on the same old Tom Kite and we get pumped then heaven help him.

I don't mind the stuff he's saying if he backs it up. The worrying thing is he actually thought the team he put out at aberdeen was capable of doing this. I really thought we were over that ****e mellon produced last year and i honestly couldn't wait for the season to start and we unleashed the young lads to have a go at teams.

Our current squad or certainly how we use our squad is our worst attacking side in my memory supporting utd and we have had some really bad teams. There is just zero pace or creativity in this team. He simply has to play the youngsters.

Yep, even in some of those terrible seasons over the past 26 years, and with some shocking teams, we still created chances, simply never took them, and were powder puff at the back. Even the recent season we went down, we lost so many games where we led at HT, but couldn’t finish the game off. Nothing to lose by playing the youngsters in midfield tomorrow, or up front IMO
