Latest figures from the PHE Technical Briefing No20 show that the vaccines have a 17% effectiveness against infection and a 77% effectiveness against death. It also shows that vaccinated people are just as likely to spread the virus as un-vaccinated people.

"The researchers found that samples from vaccinated and unvaccinated infected people had similar average cycle threshold (Ct) values, meaning they had similar viral loads, suggesting a comparable level of infectiousness."

So vaccines do a good job in preventing the virus from killing you, but not as good as originally claimed, 77% down from 95% effective, not much use at preventing infection, it will only prevent infection in 17% of cases, and will not stop any of the 83% who do catch it infecting someone else.

If the vaccines don't stop infection, only 17% effective, and don't prevent the spread of the virus, the case for vaccine passports is completely blown out of the water by their own figures. Will this make any difference to their plans ? Of course not, they'll go ahead anyway, the introduction vaccine passports has nothing to do with fighting the virus, it has another aim altogether.
