Maybe it would be easier to ban the instigator rather than try and appeal to the responders.
If I'm not mistaken you've had to politely warn laddo many times now, even when I was banned I think you've had to step in and warn him.
Since I've been back you've had to warn him and every time he apologises and says he will oblige your request but it seems he only does it for a day or so.
In the past you have blamed me and navy but even when weve been missing in action the wind ups and arguing continues.
I'm a bit confused as I'm not sure what the common denominator is, maybe someone could help me out on this one..?
Can't we just talk , agree, disagree, debate and argue about Notts for a change?
This thread for a long time (9 pages) was actually about a game of football not that would have thought it now.
Call me crazy but surely everyone on NCM would prefer to talk about Notts and football?
And there lies your big, big problem. You assume that everyone wants the same from this board as you do. For many years NCM has thrived as the most popular Notts County messageboard on mainly Notts related stuff, but also on a wide variety of off topic stuff. Sometimes things have gone a bit too far, which is why we have a moderator. Your problem is that you are trying to turn it into the sort of board YOU want, arrogantly assuming that everyone (see your quoted comment) thinks the same way as you do. The direction the board takes should always be decided by the posters who post on it, not by one person. If the odd political thread, the odd discussion on racism, the odd chat between our Aussie posters, the odd cricket thread isn't what you are looking for in a Notts County message board then I suggest you find one that suits you, rather that continually try to change this one.
Seeing as the title of this message board is Notts County Mad, I think laddo might have a point. Personally, I would rather agree to differ about Notts County football related issues, than political ones as they do tend to get very patronising, and often lead to people getting the wrong opinion of someone, mainly for the worse.
A little variety is always good, but I do prefer the footie threads. COYP
