That's just not true though is it? The selected quote you highlighted didn't say or suggest the board should be exclusively be about Notts or Football in general and nothing else. I said "...would people prefer". There is a huge difference, which makes the vast majority of your post a moot point. "Prefer" being the key word that you've missed or ignored.

Although I rarely contribute to them I'm a fan of O/T threads , especially when they are clearly titled O/T cos then nobody has any reason to moan about them as they are easily avoidable if you so wish. At least O/T threads have a specific topic lol.

What I'm not a fan of is when match day threads , and other clearly highlighted threads about a specific Notts topic get hijacked and derailed (often by yourself) into petty personal arguments which I admittedly readily respond and end up participating in. This thread is a prime example it was about the Notts Vs Derby game for 9 whole pages until your chosen intervention and since then the game has hardly got a mention.

I know, you know, we all know that many in here aren't a fan of when Notts threads end up being point scoring bickering arguments. How do we all know? Because everyone has told us far too many times. We really don't need to go over it again.

There was a period of about 3 weeks where there weren't any hijacked threads such as this as everyone discussed Notts new signings, departures , Notts cricket, areas to visit on the Queensland coast, even political gestures and things like that. It was glorious but I have a very strong feeling you didn't like that period and recently have made numerous attempts to kick off one of these arguments finally achieving it on this thread. Well done.

Finally if you are all for freedom of speech, and letting the posters of the board decide what the board is and where it goes as a message board then your regular moaning over the past two seasons is a complete contradiction to that viewpoint.

I don't do social media, so my main reason for posting on here is to get the latest news on Notts and discuss it. My secondary reason is to join in with whatever other posters decide to talk about. I would guess I'm not in a minority there. One thing I've never done is to try and change the board to what I would like it to be, because until you became the main poster it was what I wanted it to be.
