Best wishes to Shanks. You scored some memorable goals for United. Hope you have great success in Belgium. Will be looking out for you and Beerschot.

I know a lot people want Macnulty but for me i think he is total p1sh, it looks like he is going to be shanks replacement, another 1 good game in 10 , for me i hope we don't get him, just my personel opinion..we need better.

It's a strange move for him,he is obviously going to earn more money but are this Belgian outfit a proper step up? Definitely not a step down more of a step sideways or maybe slightly up.....anyway all the best to Shanks and hope it all works out for him and his family and hopefully some of the reputed £1m goes towards the type of player that might have supplied the ammo for him.

I agree. Not impressed by McNulty and what he showed most of last season.

Could he be better in main striker role - I guess that is the hope. He was up front with shanks a lot though and didn’t shine imo

    Disagree with Craig and LS

Think McNulty is a decent player and intelligent, just needs played regular up top, something we didn't really see much of last season

I think he could be a good 1-2 year option until the next Shankland comes around, whether that's one of the kids kicking on (Watson, Appere, Chalmers, Malcolm) or we find another gem from the lower leagues.

Sad to see LC go and good luck to him but Iam suprised he's gone that a club thats sturggling at the bottom of their league. They are obviously there for a reason and he may well find himself in the same position he was in last year, that is working hard for the team but struggling to score goals and not really enjoying his football. I expect the extra money will somewhat compensate.

I would rather LC went to an English Championship side, then we could gauge his true abilities. I think he was too good for the Scottish Championship and we never really got to see what he was capable of in our Premier League so will never know.

Looking at LC's statement, it seems he mostly enjoyed his time as Tannadice and he would'nt be the first or last former player to return to a club for a couple of years at the end of their career
