You have forgotten two important facts.
    1. There is a gap between Dundee supporters leaving the Main Stand at the end of the game as sections A,B nd C are empty so the Dundee and Motherwell supporters will not be ‘cheek by jowl’ when they empty into Sandeman Street.
2.Dundee supporters sitting in the Main Stand know how to behave themselves.

    You have forgotten two things.

    1. Respect for other Dundee fans in other areas of the ground

    2. Fans happily mix in the streets before and after every game

No. 2 is the kind of elitist nonsense I'd expect from an old Tory like yourself.

Do the away fans also 'know how to behave themselves'? Or is any trouble at football matches only ever initiated by Dundee fans?

Re - The Derry, still do not understand why it can't be reopened ?
We were in the Derry before Covid arrived, and now it's sat empty for over a year, and a half.
Nothing has changed, the safety security changes are all still in place, plus there has never been hot water, it was only closed when the water was frozen in the winter.
I am getting pissed off with the situation, I purchased a season ticket in my usual seat and I can't get in.
Feel like going in to ask for my money back.

You can still go online today and buy a season ticket for the Derry despite it not having anyone in it for 18 months. Seems odd to keep selling tickets for an unopened area now

If the South Enclosure and the Main Stand apart from Sections A, B and C were open this would not happen with the Motherwell supporters housed in the Bob Shankly Stand.
There will be little chance of any trouble as the Motherwell FC fans are being held back inside the stadium after the match to allow the home support who are in the Shankly to clear the area.

This was stated in one of the letters given out when puchasing a ticket for the Motherwell game.

Can't be right gen, a simple solution like this.....if only eh, Dundee cuda been occupying the bottom end and having a better atmosphere for years.

Correct, thats all they have to do keep the away fans back for 5-10 mins let the home fans disperse then let them out. Why have they only just thought of this idea for the Well game?
