    Not sure I see the point inpalying a team in the same League but nice gesture by Notts.

    I think it is not a bad idea to play someone in your division as the last pre season game, and treat it as a proper fixture so you can see exactly where you are. It was good to see the game would not have taken place if the two sides had been due to meet in the first eight league games.
