    Warne Yorkshire Post Interview

If you have read the Yorkshire Post with warne (see below) it is so depressing and so annoying, he sounds like he is giving up already and is just existing day to day.

    ************************* Yorkshire post ********************

    https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spor...up-top-3348724

    ************************************************** ******************

    So where do we start

    1. Looks like no striker coming in, absolutely madness and is so defeatist

    2. No mention of playing Sadlier off Smudge, every other bloody player but Sadlier, this is terrible he is short of players, he has a player that can score goals, naturally plays at no10 and has done it at this level before and he has given up on him, WARNE do your job manage the players, you cannot give up on a player that you haven't even given a fair chance, as soon as it is hard to manage a player he turns his back and kicks them out, I have manged 100's of people in my career and some people need you to commit and work hard with them to get the best from them.

    3. games get in the way, unbelievable we have a full time team of recruiters, what the F are they doing if Warne has to do their job or is it just another excuse.

    4. he now has to think of a plan B, so this means that we haven't done this before, we haven't trained with different formations, we haven't used pre-season to try things out and look at alternatives.

This is an interview of a man on the edge struggling to do his job, it lacks positivity and any qualities of leadership, he ends it with a section i had to cut because he was doing the so many people have lost their lives bull**** excuse, using the pandemic to try and deflect the fans away from his awful interview. It is things like this that wind me up about Warne, he doesn't come across as a leader at all, he sounds weak and pathetic, let us hope that this is just the journalist twisting his words.

Doesn't sound like it is the journalist twisting his words if you ask me....

He said he isn't sure if anyone else is coming in. Perhaps he is just being honest? Not promising something he cannot guarantee, he isn't saying 100% no new signings. Yes it would be super frustrating and even more worrying if we don't get help up top but lets see where we are when the window shuts.

Planning here is there any? Wood shouldn't be playing 2 games in 3 days but where's other fit recognized centre back apart from Ihiekwe? Then we get players in like Bola who needs a pre-season when we need a recognized left back now! I think Warney thinks most of sides in this league we just have to give ball to Ogbene then job done! Crazy. On twitter someones on about Sadlier being loaned out if that happens I know whoever agreed to that shouldn't be here!

Thanks because having read the article fully now the next line down says ...

“We might be on the edge of one in, one out and it’s not really one I want to let out.”

Literally the next line he says 1 might be coming in. Nice editing OP to suit.

I didn't edit it except for cutting the pandemic crap.
If he has a player that he doesn't want to loan out why is he letting him go?
If we are short of players why let anyone out, unless we are that short of money, at which point tell us the truth then come out and say we do not have the money to strengthen the squad
if you lot are happy with this interview fine, but I think it is awful, each to their own

"I didn't edit it apart from the bit I edited"

You missed out the bit about one in and one out option but he doesn't want to lose the player as well.

Than you for allowing us to have our own opinions. But at least share the full article if you don't want to change the narrative.

Perhaps the player is kicking up a fuss and has made it known that he really wants the move for whatever reason? Be it financial, professional or personal. Like any company, really hard to keep people that don't want to be there. Other players aren't going to want to be in a dressing room with someone who clearly doesn't want to be there, like people wouldn't in other work settings.

You seem intent on the club somehow being dishonest about their dealings. Imagine if you were the club, potentially negotiating with clubs on both incomings and outgoings, you'd be an idiot to declare that we have no money to everyone. Tell the fans and you'll tell everyone else too.

You can choose between Sadlier or Ladapo for that statement as if fits both players to a tee.
