Correct. That’s why the term “only on NCM” is so pathetic and ridiculous.

Now now Elite you've seen far more pathetic and ridiculous things written on NCM many many times. You just choose not to comment on those one

I'm sure you agree that it's great we've announced such an impressive backroom staff appointment? Will it finally solve our set pieces woes at both ends of the pitch?

    Only time will tell.

If we have the right players, otherwise it will be a very long haul.

Sounds a great appointment to me. I think the owners are putting in all the right foundations, it won’t necessarily mean instant success but if they hang around I’m sure it will come eventually.

Do you really expect the majority of fans to be patient while we are in this crap league?

Whether they/we like it or not they are going to have to be patient , unless of course you want to keep chasing our tail like we have been doing for seasons now.
Throwing stupid money at problems is short term and has proven to be disastrous , we only need look across the river , in the mirror or down the A52 to see this solution fail admirably and consistently.
Coaching is the future and it should have been In place for this club a long long time ago.

Expect, no. Hope, yes. Unfortunately we live in a World, not just football, where majority of folk want everything quickly. Luckily, our owners don’t appear to be influenced into make decisions for short term impact/benefits. This season, at times, could be a test of Burchnall’s resolve and not just supporter patience.

If the performances are better than the results, then yes, I do expect the fans to be patient - it’s the “expected result” model that has served Brentford so well. Of course, if we’re underperforming, then I think the fans gave every right to moan.

And this “crap league” is where we deserve to be after years and years of decline, and we’ll only get out of it on merit. I don’t go to a Notts game bemoaning the fact we’re in “division 5” right now, I go to support my team and give thanks that we still have a club and it is finally moving in the right direction.

I think NW6pie hit a very important note on the head there, well a couple actually.
Firstly performances are key , if we are playing well but not getting the results so be it, you would hope time would turn things around and yes we are in this crappy league because we deserve to be.
    He's nailed it...!
