IMO we have been clearly the better team in every game, hit the woodwork on numerous occasions, had 3 goals disallowed one of which should have counted and would probably have us sat on maximum points.

I would agree with that! We were the better side at Bournemouth and should have won - could have had five against Luton and clearly the better side for 70 minutes - hammered Sheffield - could have had 5 at Blackburn and clearly the better side.

No luck in it! Keeper errors in Bournemouth match and Johnstone 100% at fault for Blackburn goal. Apart from that our defence have been good and to be fair Semi was excellent when he came on yesterday!

Impressed so far and just need a ruthless striker to convert these numerous chances. Grant worked hard yesterday and to be fair Diangana was superb when he came on yesterday!

I do agree we have been the best team, but it’s not always the best team that wins
Was only saying we’ve had a few instances Sheff Utd missing a sitter, some shambolic defending against Luton which hasn’t lost us anything
As the season goes on unless these sort of things are addressed we may

I wasn’t being negative, just want us to not get complacent

How nice to be having these small 'differences' off the back of so many positives.

I was going to reply I can't see this manager allowing anyone to get complacent. However I do have a concern complacency might to a term you could apply to our squad depth/recruitment.

i totally get what you are saying BS. Whilst we could have had six against Blackburn once Johnstone gifted that goal it did put pressure on us and in another match a team could have got a lucky break - and two points lost.

We need a ruthless striker to bury the numerous chances we get and do need to cut out silly mistakes although we have been comfortable so far - on another day it will cost us!

Whilst Johnstone is better than Button and a good keeper for this division - i can see why no Premier team wanted him as his kicking out is still poor and mistakes are still there.

I was pleased with the hard work from Grant on Saturday and Diangana looked really sharp when he came on

Loving the start and his passion on the touchline, but I do worry about burn out like Bielsa's first season at Leeds.

Keeping up that frenetic pace is beyond the likes of deLivermore imo.

Good point Blood and hope you are well mate!

I would hope no first eleven players and subs play in the no nothing cup this Wednesday. Best to play the under 23’s!

He'll probably mix it up a bit but I would agree that we need our strongest eleven for Saturday evening v. Peterborough.
