Islay, things are not great just now. We should be encouraging the SNP to set out their case. I doubt if anyone would know the answer to the current average yields on emerging markets bonds and what Scotland would have to pay. You would think it would be higher than most other emerging countries because we have a mature, some might say aging economic resources, where is the growth going to come from?
Encourage dialogue rather than ridicule those who may have different ideas, seems to me to be the best way to discuss topics.

Agree with this. That is why sensible questions need to be asked in the expectation that a plausible/credible answer exists. If youngsters who have open minds an be encouraged to ask questions too, it would be a help. From what I remember of the last referendum the youngsters did not vote for independence. Same status with the number of youngsters being added to the voters role. They did not all vote for SNP/independence in the recent election. Its a myth that it is only the old who don't want independence IMO.

The SNP controlled Scottish Government have run out of ideas and are now more interested in ‘trans’ people than hetro***ual people throughout Scotland.

In Yesterday’s Sunday Times there was an article by Alex Massie who has previously been a panellist on BBC Question Time
Highlighted in the article is ‘The SNP insists independence is the road to riches; the Greens view it as the fastest way to their goal of putting Scotland into a recession’.
Patrick Harvie Leader of the Greens wants to immediately end production of all the oil and gas fields in the North Sea and in other Scottish waters. That will do wonders for the GERS figures as the income from taxation of oil and gas produced from these fields would immediately end. Patrick Harvie thinks that all energy should be produced from renewable sources.
In my opinion the energy companies should switch off electricity and gas being supplied to his home. Patrick Harvie can then source his own energy from renewable sources as he will be ‘off grid’.
The Green Party in Scotland want to abolish field sports, private schools and to demand the legalisation of prostitutes, *** work being a job like any other work.
In my opinion the next thing Patrick Harvie be wanting is people to go to university to acquire a degree in prostitution.
The Scottish Greens are another ‘tin pot’ political party led by a ‘tin pot’ leader.
