Just same as it won't happen with many other guys diving . Never change
It'll happen whether I like it or not though. Its happened plenty of times against us, so why argue it if it goes in our favour? It makes no difference what I think or you think anyway, it's part of football now and other clubs do it to their advantage also. Would you have us as the most honourable club in the league even if it costs us our place in it? We have moaned long enough about us being too soft and getting bullied and outsmarted by other teams, Sundays performance was an example of how we might be turning a corner in that regard. Gamesmanship is just another area of the same thing and we need to be just as smart as other teams with it.
I want my team to be winners, a little sly penalty or free kick here or there is just part of the game in my opinion and not worth all this fuss, I've seen less fuss made when it's been against us ffs 😂
Pawlett was in the wrong but to me it looks like he wants to protect a previous injury when he dives like that when tackled-maybe the broken arm-whatever the reason he needs to stop it.
The club accepting the red is the right decision long term BUT I would like to think Tam will learn from this and read the game better, after Pawlett made that tackle Tam should have hooked him.
Yeah, it was a 'different' decision shall we say. Was really expecting one of the strikers to come off, however we were also fairly comfortable at the same time keeping them both on. Sometimes replacing one of the front men just invites pressure which we didn't get. Down to the fact we kept two up front or the fact Saints were just pish?
If you apply that logic though then he’d have also had to take off Robson and McNulty - St Johnstone were hounding the referee constantly in a desperate effort to get one of them off. And of course it eventually worked. Perhaps we should have been engaging in similar tactics surrounding Shaun Rooney because how he managed to see out the ninety minutes was beyond me.
