Some reports reckon he is at the club finalising details! If true loan deal with no option to buy for the 29 year old.

Not convinced but just hope Ismael is happy.

Only positive I can see is he is a traditional centre forward who isn’t bad at holding up the ball. Not one wanting to come in from the wings.

Sounds like the marquee signing we have all been waiting for ……NOT

I think he holds the ball up well, and that is an area we are desperate to improve. Its just that I would honestly expect a proper centre forward to be a major contributor to the goal tally as well.

Chairman Lai really holding on to the cash now

IMO we need to focus on strength in midfield and at the back first. We have 0 strength in depth!

Snotter who puts himself about, gets in defenders faces and puts a shift in. Offers something different to what we've got and brings others in to play. As a loan signing to supplement the squad this would be decent. Let's hope there's more to come should he arrive though.

57 goals in 254 games.......a one goal in every 5 games ratio 😳🥲

He’s going to need to bring a hell of a lot to the party in hold up play if we have to stomach such a paltry return.

A goal every other game striker with a bit of height and build would virtually guarantee this side promotion, personally I’d have gone back for Diagne if it’s a physical presence we want.

Him and Yoksulu would see us romp this division.

This is another El Cheapo option.

Agree with that and surely would leave change from the Pereira sale?
