I was assuming the same. Then I was thinking with the money they’ve spent/spending their fans/owners would expect a bit more than lump it forward. But, then reverted back to lump it forward as their owners don’t have a clue and their fans will probably take whatever’s on offer as long as they get out of the NL.

I'm glad we're playing them away so early in the season but as said they need to be able to gel or it's a waste of time. I assume they're buying players to suit Parkinsons way of playing but it looks like they're just buying players because they can.

Let them be the favourites and the pressure that comes with that, sure it's great now signing everyone but a few bad results and then that favourite tag weighs heavy on any team. Much prefer to be in our position, no one is looking at us really and then we'll dick em. COYP

150k for Tozer is mental if that is true. I hope clubs exploit the hell out of them. Don't know much about Jones, but he played a lot of games in League One last season so that looks like a decent signing.

Yeah they're not messing about are they, I'm obviously gutted that Notts have such strong competition for the top but at the same time they are everyones favourites and this could work against them.

Their (Cheltenham) local news is reporting that they turned down an initial offer of £60k and Wrexham have doubled it to £120k who which they have again rejected.

Good that we have got to go there so early in the season.

Yeah definitely, they're still settling hopefully and if we have a good result against Torquay which we're more than capable of then will be a cracker.

Parkinson will be Wrexhams undoing. He's an overrated ultra negative manager who plays turgid boring football. They'd have been better off with Ardley which is saying something. I am sure they will be up there at some point but under that bozo I cannot see it happening.
