If Smudge were to go then I don't think PW lasts the season. I don't think he would know what to do in forming attacks in all honesty. We would end up midtable somewhere and suddenly feel very spoilt with the last few seasons of success in this division. Players would leave, such as Ogbene, and life would become miserable for eternity. Most on here would turn to drink to quell the pain with only occasional flickers of memory of past glory, ambitious but brilliant playing over and over as we head to Morecambe again for the fourth season in a row for a 14th / 15th position showdown. To finish us all off, Alan Stubbs comes back as he has promised TS he has become a footballing genius.

TS has a choice. No he dunt have to spend any money but if dunt he can forget about promotion this season. If he lets Smudge go and dunt replace him he can start thinking about relegation.

If we need to get shut of somebody first, I would get shut of Ladapo personally.

Maybe TS aint bothered about us going up this season.

It could also be that Warney will walk/ get the boot if TS dunt back him and results start going tits up. If Warney walks/ gets the boot we will be buggered.

We only have 3 strikers,one of whom is a kid starting out.
Most teams, especially in this league will have 4 front men,so if come Wednesday we have sold one,anyone, this would be a disaster.
The only exception to this would be if Smith went for top money, which I reckon is over 3 million.

So how about the said player Nahki Wells coming to us and Smudge going the other way? I understand Bristol are asking £1.75 million for Wells so it could be a player swap plus cash from us or we hold out and say just a straight player swap?
