Another Win and its one our best ever starts in history
Love the passion showed by Matty Phillips and Ajayi to win the game at the end. This is what this manager brings to the side, well done Val for instilling a winning mentality.
A few points to improve on…
Diagana is getting like sessingnon, all show and little end product. Needs to release the ball earlier instead of running into traffic all the time. Phillips showed him what is required.
Grant, no conviction. I would have expected Grant to be in the box rather than Ajayi his half hearted shot and trying to engineer a penalty rather than the determination to shoot did not impress me. No wonder Lai does not want to spend when those two £18M men continue to disappoint.
I would bet Gayle would have a hat trick last night, The Tap in at the end and perm any 2 from the two headers Hughill had and Grants opportunities
Also We can see Val ruthless streak, Zohora and Kipre out , maybe out of the door ?
Very pleased with things at the moment.
Front three of Robinson, Hugill and Phillips please

I'm more than happy with us playing a direct, high intensity game but last night we just appeared to boot the ball aimlessly without even attempting to find one of our players. It was a poor display but as I've said, we won!

Totally agree Leicesterbaggie & that's the top & bottom of it , but don't get me wrong elated we won ,

Agree Ketts looked like a pen from where we were as well, as you said our fans didn’t stop the whole game and when the goal went in the roof nearly came off! Credit to Peterborough as they pressed us back and played high tempo throughout, that said there was definitely quality missing today and too many balls played in hope, but the effort was there and we got what we deserved in the end. Best moment for me was Val charging down the touchiness to celebrate right in front of where I was sat and the steward ending up on his arse! All in all a great away day started with the beer festival on the riverbank and the barge and ended like it did!
    COYB! FOL
Overall, a good night out; enjoyed a beer on that barge and the atmosphere amongst the Albion fans was great, and as for stoppage time winners………!

Maybe we’ll bump into one another sometime, Dave!

Hopefully we can sort a match day meet up at some point, perhaps one of the games Thomas is over for, used to be the Sportsman for these meets? I’m usually in the front room of the vine first on the left as you walk in for Saturday 3pm’s but if we were trying to have a footymad meet would change to suit the majority.

Some fans need to get a life, for a new manager a new system and a fair few new players we are doing just fine and will continue to do so.

There's two quality sides in this division, ourselves and Fulham, the rest can beat each other on any given week.

We have 13 points from 15 and it should be all 15 in reality.

We missed Robinson tonight, once he's back and Hugill is playing regularly we'll pile up the wins.

We'll get relegated again next season but let's enjoy this for now eh?

Just wait till we start losing playing like that the fans will soon turn today’s performance made a Pulis team look like Brazil
Do you seriously think Pulis would of allowed
a centre half in the opposition box let alone still be trying to win a game in injury time? Our style will sometimes look poor but you will also notice every team we play are changing their system and style to try and cope with us.

Totally agree! Takes a lot to get me excited but really happy with style of football and intensity plus a passionate manager. When we have an off game ( there will be more ) to still go for the 3 points tells you a lot!

    Well done players and Val!!

A couple of points. When Johnny Giles took us on we were rock bottom of the second division at the end of September.
This type of football won't work in the premier league but neither will an open expansive game as Tony Mowbray proved.
    Let that sink in.
Being an Albion fan I love to see good football but the game has changed, we can no longer outfootball the likes of City, United, Chelsea and Liverpool.
I love the passion and commitment Val brings to the club.
We are all in this together, people should stop moaning.
    This is 2021 not 1978.
