I really don’t know what some people expect. I thought it was an excellent performance and an excellent point. We’ve more than competed with the big favourites(rightly so).

Good game overall, very competitive great energy to the game.
    Good vocal support
    Two good goals.
Nice football attempted and played by both sides both sloppy at times.
Clearly they have got quality and signed quality and Hyde & Mullin looks too good for this level. Didn't know about Tozer's long throw which is a weapon.
Effort was good throughout as you would expect.
Defensively we were excellent throughout. No need to worry about Cameron easily our best player this evening. No need to worry about him at all including in the air.
    Francis a little lightweight.
JOB was very hit and miss.
    DKE and Taylor slightly disappointing.
Couldn't get R&R into the game once they came on.

Will be a very good point if we win the next game. Not many will go to Wrexham and make them drop points.
Unbeaten for a tough looking opening 3 fixtures.

Happy with tonight's effort and especially the result with a little help from Lady Luck. Predicted the correct result which is a rarity on here and won on BTTS.

    Night all

My values must be rather different to yours, because my "excellent" would be a comfortable victory at least.

I would describe tonight as a decent performance, so I'm not disappointed but not elated.

Apparently it’s the first time since 2008 that we have started a season undefeated after 3 games as well. With the fixtures we have coming up their is no reason why we can’t be undefeated come the end of September.

Second half was a bit of a non event. Slocombe should have done better for the goal. Not sure he’s good enough for a title chasing side.

    Very good point overall.

Could have watched this game on BT Sports. Glad I didn't - sounds like we were krap & lucky again.

That said, a point away at Wrexham has to be considered a good result given their resources. The 'bad' point was the one on Saturday against a Torquay team who were more than beatable, as Woking and Altrincham have already proven.

Still, we're unbeaten after three games and aside from two goalkeeping errors our defence has looked fairly solid, which was the worry in pre-season. Plus, we should only get better as the new players continue to gel into the team. Every reason to be positive.
Cameron should have got his head on cross it shouldnt have got to Sam.

Totally agree. We will be in contention for promotion if that’s anything to go by.

The next job is to produce the same level of performance against a few of the less fancied teams - and prove we can win against them consistently.

    The next five games

    The next five games......

Based on last seasons final positions.

    21st at home (Aldershot)
    14th away (Weymouth)
    18th at home (Wealdstone)
    6th at home (Maidenhead)
    12th away (Altrincham)

Then it gets a bit tricky from the start of October.
So an important month coming up if we are serious about challenging.
