Heard ts interview before donny game…..he said we are only allowed to spend 75% with ffp rules, and we have gone over that…does this mean we have to sell to balance that out..or can”t it not be negated once breached..?..

We collected well over a million for Crooks, so there is no way we have gone over that limit. Our sponsership income is as good as any in this division. We don't need to sell anybody but we desperately need more firepower up front.Today will tell us how ambitious the club is.
Thinking of the fair play system, with money spent by clubs.
Ipswich Town have brought in 18 new players at the club.
Ipswich Town brought in a new CEO at the club being Mark Ashton, he was CEO at
championship club Bristol City, but left to take up his new post with Ipswich Town.
Mark Ashton was a championship representative director of the EFL while at Bristol
City, but had to resign the post, with him going to a division one club, which already
have representatives on the EFL board.
So Mark Ashton will know the ins & outs of how the EFL board work.
Can't we just learn from what Derby and Wednesday do.
All we need is an expensive sounding lawyer with three surnames in the company name, a New York postal address (tick) and just put out on social media that they charge US$5000 per hour.
We won't hear a peep from the EFL
Sorted
There's interview with Paul Jewell doing the rounds who was managing Wigan at the time of the Tevez Masherano transfer saga that ended in a court case with SUFC.
He said he had a Prem official in his office and said to him that if it was Wigan or a Watford who had done this then there would have been instant relegation or huge points deduction that meant the same thing. The Prem official agreed and admitted that some clubs are favoured considerably because of their standing and traditions
He said the tactic was to hope WHU got themselves relegated by normal means and then hit them with the fine. Unfortunatley WHU kept winning and saved themselves including a last match win at Old Trafford with the winning goal by.....Carlos Tevez
Or just pretend that FFP doesn't apply to you???
Just been on Talk Sport that Reading have just signed Scott Dann & Danny Drinkwater and are now trying to sign Andy Carroll.
None of them will be on low wages. Where has all that money come from?
If I remember correctly, Reading were shown to be overspending and reporting massive 'rolling' annual losses for the past few seasons and are still operating under a transfer embargo.
Reading are still over spending to get to the pot of gold that is the Prem. If they get there they get to milk the cash cow for a year then decend with a parachute payment that will clear the debt. They'll then negociate a reduced fine with the EFL and get appointed on that board so they know how to cheat better the next time round!
