Dunno about that, Carson is an upgrade on Mehmet, Mulgrew is an upgrade on Reynolds/Connolly, Levitt is an upgrade on Harkes, Finnish guy (hopefully) will be an upgrade on Bolton, McNulty is an upgrade on...err...McNulty. Only guy we haven't replaced/upgraded on is Shankland which is hard to do and the Robson/McMann one is a wait and see.

Already upgraded results against Rangers and St Johnstone this season.

Sorry, getting into the happy clapping stage.

But yes, we could have done with a striker

10 assists last season apparently can be a bit of a niggly defender too. Hope so as sounds good. Thats where i was mentioning freeman being forward thinking too. Having one bombing forward and butcher hanging back if needed could change the way we play - as long as the crosses arent above 5ft 8 in height lol. would have been great to get another striker but i still have hope for appere

its not been as active as other teams around us but that doesnt always make it better. Positives as you said we still have benji, fuch and edwares - carson is better than mehmet, mulgrew is better than reynolds and connolly, levitt seems promising, mcmann offers something different to robson, finnish boy is a wide two footed winger type we so badly needed. But the front two is an issue. we may make chances but will we score more?

10 assists in a season is excellent for a full back, nevermind one fighting at the bottom of the table. I think Robson's had 11 assists in 5 years.

This quote from the Utd website is encouraging to say the least - "a strength in my game is getting forward and creating chances for strikers with crosses and set pieces so, hopefully, I can bring that to this club".

Spot on, definitely not been abysmal, been a decent if unspectacular window, steady...

On Liam Smith, rate him, our best right back in ages, don't really need an upgrade, competition maybe, but if freeman is any good (and I'm not convinced yet) then he can push for a place

Also to say hopefully some of our injuries come back and we get a work permit pronto. Chalmers offers something different again, Appere and Meekison too. I would think that McNulty will score a few but is he reallya prolific number 9? Clark is the odd one out there and not sure he should be a starter.

Oh and what has happened to glass??

Glass should be back in full training in a couple of weeks

Clark is only going to be useful in a 4-2-3-1, anything else doesn't really suit him.

Good luck to Jamie Robson at Lincoln City. We'll never forget your winner against gers this season.
Looking forward to Scott McMann creating chances for the guys up front.

I think it’s been an average window. A lot better than St Johnstone’s that’s for sure

Probably a slightly above average window if the previous few have been anything to go by. We've brought in what seems like quality over quantity which we haven't done in the past. Another two or three would've been a great window. Yet ANOTHER window where we don't sign a creative midfielder. Fairly certain Levitt isn't that player. We've brought in a winger however. Crying out for a striker though and that may be our biggest downfall this season.
