I didnt take to England with that first half performance Alf, especially with Matterface and Lee Dixon making excuses for them with quotes like " Got to be patient ", " the crowd is intimidating ", " Hungary defending well ", coming out with bollox about good crosses when its hit straight to an opponent.

Why do we need to be Patient ? We should be going for the throat from minute one.

Why does the crowd have to be intimidating ? Don't many of the England players play for their Clubs away from home at intimidating grounds ?

Hungary defending well ? I didn't notice any positive attacking waves aimed at the Hungarian defence.

O.K. it worked out well in the second half with a bit more positivity.

Sorry but the Monkey chants and cup throwing (it wasnt warranted) was made worse with the English lads running and celebrating facing the Hungarian terrace, I keep saying a lot of Footballers are thick as pig sh!t, but it will give Sterling and Co an opportunity to spout their grievance in the media and Facebook

Hard to argue with a 4-0 away victory. I'm sorry to say it, but the goon doing the monkey chants really made me laugh - now that dude really is as thick as pig $hit!

Sterling should have been sent off, taking his shirt off is one yellow, deliberately provoking the home crowd should have been a second. Seeing as he got away with it, the English FA should ban him anyway, we don't want, or need, that sort of provocative behaviour from England players, the cretin nearly caused a riot.

It's not all about you Raheem.

Shut the stadium down. Make them play behind closed doors for half a dozen games. A fine will be no deterrent at all. Time for UEFA/FIFA to get tough. No place anywhere, for behaviour such as this.

so all should suffer because.... some knob who was likely just winding it up, knew it was an easy bite, may even be, was slipped a few frints for his trouble....anyhow, now what, it all over tomorrows papers ?...the latest round of over reactive bollox !

disclaimer - didn't see the game, just giong by the comments.

Perhaps CiB can elaborate, but on my one and only "flying visit" to Hungary I was surprised by the "whiteness" of the home folks.

It's pretty obvious Eastern Europe is nowhere near as multicultural as ours, it begs the question why do we impose our cultural values on other nations?

Rather than go all "morally superior", just laugh at the sheer ridiculousness of a guy jumping up and down doing monkey chants. It's not like he was holding Sterling by the neck - was it?

    Which behaviour is that Malwayne?
So you think throwing a few plastic cups is worse than hordes of hooligans breaking into Wembley then when they lose trashing anything and anyone Italian in London?
The little prick Sterling ran over to the crowd with a English message on his shirt which for all the Hungarian fans know could have been anything. It was provocative to say the least.

I think most of us on here are not really enamoured with Sterling, and not because he just happened to be born black...
