Some of the spelling and grammar I see on Albion FB sites look like that of a five year old.
You can't expect thicko player's and fan's to understand anything, so all the protest's are meaningless.

Good one Des! Are you saying Beckham and Rio lack a degree of intelligence

Maybe an encyclopedia could help some footballers ameliorate their knowledge… 😜

There was some booing amongst the Albion fans at the knee bending nonsense before the game at Peterborough.

Supporters are entitled to boo whatever they want as long as there’s no nasty undertones. I can’t believe why these people don’t grasp - taking the knee is taking the message backwards. Why not come up with something new and innovative so the players don’t have to be part of this pantomime!

The players have come out and said that they are taking a knee as a message around anti-racism and fair play to them. This is played in a video at the start of premier league football matches. It used to get confused with BLM but BLM is a different movement to taking the knee due to anti-racism. BAME footballers are sick to death of being abused and their white team mates are sick of seeing the impact of this. Taking the knee is how they are choosing to send a message against it and fair play to them.

Booing anti-racism is now definitely a nasty undertone or pure ignorance.

You seriously can’t say people who boo taking the knee without nasty undertones is pure ignorance! Every individual has a right to boo without any nasty undertones which includes taking the knee or booing aplayer who is not giving any effort ie Zohore!!!

I have seen people booing those who sing to Sian Massey ( lineswoman ) to get her t its out for the lads! Is that pure ignorance those who stick up for the poor girl!

Some feel more should be done by the clubs ( yes spend some money ) to eradicate racism further but they feel taking the knee has become tired and reversing the message the players are trying to achieve. Personally, I don’t boo and neither applaud - it’s a football match!

If I was Southgate I would look in the mirror after the Hungary match and think why provoke those disgusting animals by taking the knee! Why the hell did Sterling provoke those animals by lifting his shirt and running over to them?

With disgusting animals it’s best to get on with it and not provoke a reaction and that can be said of many things in life including players who tackle like animals too!

At Blackburn ( I was there ) - I would be concerned more at the West Brom thugs who thought it funny to throw smoke bombs on the pitch at the end near players than those who booed taking the knee! Funny that - one of those smoke bombs could have taken someone’s eye out but not mentioned but a few booing the knee becomes big news!!! Funny old world!

How can you possibly suggest that booing a bunch of lads for taking a stand against regular abhorrent racism is absolutely fine and compare it to booing a lazy player? Of course it's ignorance or just plain racism.

And why should they sit there and take abhorrent abuse and do nothing about it? It's their choice and they choose to stand up for themselves, credit to them.

I feel you put racist abuse on a really low footing, comparing it to flares being thrown and bad tackles. We should be better than that as a club with our history.

You need to read my post again! If individuals want to boo taking the knee without any racial undertones - that’s their choice! If you vote for the raving looney party then that’s your choice. Speak for yourself and not others!

West Brom thugs at Blackburn would concern me more throwing smoke bombs on the pitch than a few who choose to boo taking the knee for their own reason. I am sure those who booed the knee had their reasons and they are regulars at West Brom away games so certainly not racist with 90% of our players being black - FFS!!! Even some black players choose not to take the knee or don’t agree with it!!! That’s their choice too!

Those supporters in Hungary were animals and should be banned. Call me an old cynic though - Sterling knew exactly what he was doing by running over to provoke them - lifting his shirt to promote his own social media with every camera on him!!!! Can you imagine Federer or Nadal doing this on Centre Court! No because they are both intelligent!! They would also more than likely be heavily fined!

So some black players refuse to take the knee for their own reasons which is fine but God can you imagine a white player doing this? They would lose their career through the snowflake propaganda!

So going back to the Blackburn match - no problem with those who booed who did it with no racial undertones. With a young child at the match I was more concerned at the West Brom yobs on masse chanting to Blackburn supporters - you’ve seen West Brom now
f uck off home!!! Then at least three smoke bombs thrown on the pitch!! That’s disgusting in my view and more of a concern!

You get the point!! Bit like those who are anti vaccination - it’s their choice what they do as long as there’s no abuse and any protest is civil!
