Dyche Fit is a myth, we're no fitter than any other PL team, and maybe not as fit as some. I used to believe it until Tripps went to Spurs, after a few months there he was asked, what was the biggest difference he found being at Spurs as opposed to being at Burnley, the training is harder he said, he had to get Poch fit to play for Tottenham. And that was six years ago.

"Dyche Fit" is another media-driven thing and has nothing to do with physical fitness at all.
Sean requires players to buy into his methods for keeping Burnley Football Club in the Premier League, something which, in spite of the limited resources that have been available, he has proved to be pretty good.
It is very much a mental process which players need to get into their psyche and once they are perceived to have understood exactly what is required then they will be very much part of the squad.
Some players and a lot of fans won't buy into this philosophy, however, it is not their job or pride which is on the line.

Lots of fans think that it is time for change, just as fans at Bolton, Blackburn, Newcastle and Sunderland thought with Sam Allardyce. They all lost stability and it is a long, hard process to get back. Newcastle are the exception because they have the much maligned Mike Ashley as an owner and he has kept that club afloat, no matter what their fans think.

Still rated one of the top managers in world football, maybe because he can get his players fitter than Sean Dyche.

Was there ever a fitter professional footballer than George Boyd?

Not only need to be physically fit but mentally fit and sharp - from the outside Dyche seems pretty good at the latter.

I think you sometimes get a bum wrap in the media for how you play as at times you play decent stuff and have some very good footballers - McNeill, Taylor, Tarka the Otter (or whatever your CB is called) and the lads in the middle can all play as well as battle. You also have one of the best keepers in the league too.

Not sure that many other managers would get what Dyche does out of your squad. Changing managers mid season is always a risk look at WBA last year.

We are NOT going to change managers mid-season. Wherever did you get this fanciful notion?

Doesn't matter when we change managers, mid-season or summer, when Dyche goes, we're fecked. End of.
