I know you went from golden boy of the Scottish independence movement, to becoming Aberdeen Mads first new registered user in about 6 years. I know that must sting a wee bit. How did you stumble across this place? Were you googling ‘wee baldy plant prick’?

I can’t remember the ID of the boy who always used to ask the induction questions, among which were always a couple of curveballs. In the context of this discussion, you might have asked the Rev where he goes for a pish (eg through the Soother fence, the Soother lavvies) and if he minds the locus being shared by other genders wherever on the spectrum.

I blame the McInnes fan club on here for the bitterness. Some would just debate anything with you for the sole reason you hurt their feelings by wanting McInnes out. I remember once comparing him to Jimmy Saville for the only reason that he could do as he pleased and had his boss over a barrel. Both thought they were untouchable. Both also had weird fan clubs. I stand by that statement.

The query I have with a good number of those who castigated the previous managerial team for its failures, often with justification, seem to have a far higher folerance for systemic and tactical failure at Scottish Governmental level. Whilst home drubbings by Motherwell or St Perth are unacceptable, in The Great Scheme Of Things, these are of far less significance than the scandalous data on drugs-related fatalities, NHS waiting times, Miles Storeyesque missing of self-set Blairist targets, failure to deliver on “judge me” educational attainment gap narrowing, and dozens of others from Agricultural Subsidy Payments to Zoonoses.

All very well and the current administration have plenty of faults but we'll never know how things could be until we have a proper fully functional Scottish government in place.
