Easy to say no for the Derby when Covid safety is taken into it, and i dont see any potential for improved performances in our current squad!
One thing that gets on my goat is using phrases such as 'I'm no paying £30 for that scheite' or 'I'll pay £30 when the product on the park deserves it'. Sorry but you cannot call yourself a supporter if you wheel that one out. No doubt they'll mump and moan when they can't get to the front of the queue for Cup Final tickets.

By all means don't go if you would love to and can't afford to because I do agree that the prices are on the steep side. That's definetly an issue for taking up with the Club - but don't cite 'value for money'. You don't get that following United. What you do get is the joy and despair of supporting a Club that has given us some almighty highs and devastating lows but you keep coming back for more.

And if we all stop supporting them citing 'quality of product on the park' we'll be out of business tout suite.

As a young lad I saw some of the greatest players ever to Don the tangerine Jersey, the product on the park was ****ing sublime, and quite often I paid **** all to watch it. Either a leg up over the turnstiles or climbing over the wall and hiding in the toilets dodging stewards were my most common methods of payment 😉

I guess the tables have been firmly turned 😉

Devastating news fae down south at the crack O dawn today troops as ADS informed me that he and more importantly Miss Bradford will not be attending the Derby. They were more than willing to spend hundreds on travel, accommodation and premium Bedsit Hospo but that extra £2 on each ticket was the straw that broke the camels back.

First of all, its my turn to say please do not question my support for my club!

When considering going to games, one of the first things i HAVE to think of is the financial security of my family, and if i dont think its worth pissing £30 up against the wall in this case, then that is my decision! It isnt my only consideration, and while I am double jabbed, and my son will have had his second, we both still think its not safe enough!

But HTF can you question my loyalty and then agree that the prices are on the steep side And having been a supported for about 40 years, i dont need a lecture on the highs and lows of our club having not missed a SC final in those years, and quite frankly im sick of lining the pockets of prima donna footballers and their owners for absolutely no return!

If you want to keep looking to blame something, here, have COVID, as its opened my eyes to seeing more to life than being shafted out of £30 to feel miserable!

I would be more than willing to start up a PATG fund for any poster on here who is genuinely feeling the pinch for CAT A games. My idea would be to ask the more affluent posters like Terence to pay into my fund and then if a poster on here thinks £30 is too much and is only willing to pay £25 i use the fund to contribute a fiver to their admission.
What do you think of that Troops?.

Brilliant idea mate, wonder if Terry wouldn't mind filling my tank up too 😋🤣

In all seriousness though, it's a work issue keeping me from the game though but definitely planning for the Perth saints game at end of October though. Although not sure the other half will fancy the late October Scottish weather 🤣
