Thread: Doncaster Rovers Post Match Thoughts

Well, there are arguments about Mickey Mouse tin pot competitions and Donny are without doubt in trouble and struggling. However the recent results have got to be confidence building and the fringe players have had a good run out.

A good result on Saturday will build the confidence even higher

Absolutely, looks an excellent addition. Has a bit of everything. Can break the lines with the ball at his feet, pick a pass, get his foot in and make a tackle, great energy and endeavour. Really good signing. Pick of the bunch this year for me.

I agree. With the amount of games having that depth is crucial. All over the pitch people are playing for their place week in and week out. Great competition.

Yeah that's fair to a degree. All I would say is that even with the more defensive approach we missed some absolute sitters quite regularly so we did create enough opportunities to win games even with said approach. I also think we didn't necessarily drop due to having to compensate for errors. Teams we were playing generally had better players than us so there is that.

Grumps, that is a very wise call. I've always admired Wiles but it has to be said when you think there is a better player at this current time for him not to start for once. Thing is though he's Warne's favourite so I suspect Lindsay will be the fall guy.

Totally agree, but watching the highlights, Donny should have scored an easy 3 goals, only p$ss poor finishing saved us.

Agree Grist, Doncaster Rovers in trouble, but what a good confidence boost for the Millers players.

    Must watch.

    This poor Doncaster Rovers blogger.

He started off all happy and pleased with how the game started but, with each goal he turns into Buster Bloodvessel.

I shouldn’t laugh but It was entertaining. Very passionate. Lasts just over 14 mins. Enjoy.

No wonder they have a literacy problem in Donny when all the signs are written backwards

Can anyone explain "He was more offside than Captain Birdseye"?
