Early tomorrow? You mean 6pm tonight

One thing is for sure is if I watch her she'll lose. Thankfully for her tennis has primarily gone the way of boxing and is PPV so I won't be parting with my hard earned $.

Can only be harder with the spotlight on her.

Reminds me of Murray, British when winning, Scottish when losing

Basically from the same dinghy of desperation.

I don’t mind the playing for national teams, nor their successes, but British they aren’t

The tennis lass is already British number 1, such is the low level of the rest
So what defines British then Grist? If it's not 'chosen' is it purely down to place of birth, parentage, colour of skin, brand of brown sauce preferred...or what?

    Only his mother I think

Born in Britain, with a birth certificate registered in Britain would be the simplest rule I suppose.

So Jamaican Raheem Sterling wouldn’t qualify

What I was going to say Raducanu like Konta Mo Farah Zola Budd Rusedski ect... takes shine off what they achieve for not being born in Britain

Yes, shows the desperation to have a champion, so in good Derby County tradition, bend the rules

What is she then? Canadian? Romanian? Chinese? In your opinion what nationality is she? I'm curious.

If you're ranked 100 say (yes she is lower currently, 146ish I think) in the entire world in a particular sport then you're doing pretty darn well. Not so much others are rubbish from here, just that tennis ranks are individual, how many English footballers would be in the top 100 of every single player out there? Not many probably.

Aside from the British or not debate she's only just finished her A levels so to advance her tennis career to extremely lofty heights at the same time is very impressive
