Lincoln fans really impressed with us.

Example : Thankfully Griffiths had a wonder game and we managed to put together one superb move that resulted in a goal. I'd have been happy with a point before the game, with 10 minutes left to go it seemed very improbable. Really good point in the end.

We won't come up against teams that good every week and we won't play that badly. Time to put that game to bed and move on.

We were probably as good yesterday, as we were dire on saturday, but at least PW made some positive changes which, after saturday, was clearly needed.
Ironically, last season in the championship we created some really good chances in games and missed them but then also gave away some soft goals and teams punished us, and whilst the expectation from championship to league 1 is totally different for us, we are doing the same things and still getting punished even at this level.
However, I think we were all wanting to see a reaction from our team after Saturday, and for me it was a massive game for PW yesterday, because had we bombed again, then the knives would have been out, so even though we didnt win, and as apprehensive as I felt before yesterday's game, it has made me feel more confident about the game at Bolton on saturday who are absolutely flying. And that is a real blast from the past, Cam.

Many a happy hour spent on those in my younger days.

And many a unhappy one on the way back from the match LOL.

As regards last night, a much improved performance, if not quite the result.

A lot of positives after Saturday, managerial and team

Back 3 didn't gel really. Harding don't know what kept him out but he'd have been better on the right. Like to see Bola given a run in the side get him match fit. Ogbene alot better 2nd half got some dangerous crosses in. We've played alot worse than that & won!

Agree with the majority, so many positives compared to the weekend. Bola looked solid and playing Mattock also gave us a nice balance for once. Shame Bola doesn't look quite fit enough for a 90 minute match yet.

Rathbone and Barlaser bossed like many of us suspected they would. Good players play well with good players. Although it wasn't his best game Barlaser linking from defence was lovely to see, hoofball in the bin, Dan finding a couple of yards and the defence just giving him the ball, simple.

Grigg should start but Ladapo's hold up play was really good last night and did put 2 on a plate for Smudge, with him scoring from 1.

Ogbene looking a lot better and delivering great balls from which we easily could have scored more.

Less concerned about the draw as the style was so much better and in the long run I believe it will get us more points than we lose. Rather we drew last night playing that way then hoofing and winning if you get what I mean. Let's stick with this, once we get Wes back etc we will be super strong with this lineup, just a few tweaks here and there. UTM!
