Sounds like you wont have time for footy Brin but at least I know where to come to for some snap! Have a go at the prize cryptic crosswords in various magazines etc they will test your noggin a bit and you might even win a prize or two.

There you have it! Makes sense that the ex pats would bring it over with them. Are there any official clubs, grounds, leagues etc?

Saw that episode and I would piss what Gino did. Funny you mention Gino, he's in the Tizer this week highlighting his Father- In-Laws
poor state of health through vascular dementia. The man himself his Glyn Jones who use to play for the Millers, so sad a story.

I have in the past won holidays and concert tickets entering radio phone ins. I usually phone/text in to Howard Pressman on Radio Sheffield each evening trying his quiz and telling him what I've cooked for the evening meal. He once called me to talk about my cooking exploits and he's now called it the 'tea time challenge' and others also text in saying what they're having for tea. My small claim to fame.

Not that I'm aware of around where I am now. I think the Microsoft campus has/had a cricket pitch but that whole area is currently under re-development. With 40,000+ employees on the site and a good many of them from India I guess they might have a 'works league'. CT would know better about the San Francisco Bay Area, I know when I lived there 15+ years ago there were some quite active leagues.

Not quite America but there are quite a few cricket pitches in Toronto .
I think they,re centred around health and fitness clubs whereby the owner is expat English and is keeping the torch alive

There wasn't a right minded invester that would have put money into the rail system the way it was set up back then.
