He couldn't he died in 1955 lol. If you bother to read back it goes a little deeper than your summation. Warnock and Allardyce quoted examples of preferred direct style that's 30 and 20 years ago respectively as you know.
I do indeed. I'm watching MOTD but happy to take a look which specific comments do you want me to review?
I can't believe we are talking about Notts, times are a changing![]()
After yesterday’s expected debacle I would be asking if there is anyone at the club that understands this league and what is required to get out of it?
I don’t know what it is but something at the club just doesn’t seem quite right between what we are being told and what is actually happening, recruitment being one.

Recruitment has become a major problem now, even if it wasn't before. The players brought in by Burchinall seem to lack direction and positivity, they don't have any connection with each others movement, teamwork is disjointed and has been since the distant memory of Barnet.
Discipline is shocking. Last week we saw Roberts and Ruben not playing as part of a coherent team but just going their own way. Yesterday Ruben was lucky not to get sent off. The defence looked as if they had just stepped off a merry-go-round and Patterson must be looking for a bus back up North.
Looking on the plus side, the lady who does the laundry will have an easy day today.
You've made lots of comments on Notts on this thread so it was far from obvious, perhaps you could quoted it next time seeing as you've now got the hang of using quotes.
Now you've highlighted the previous comment you were referring to I'm not sure what to add tbh. It's not one I thought you would want me to review.
I'm sure there are plenty of teams between Man City/Barcelona and Notts who are trying to emulate the aforementioned's style/approach.
And yes we got hammered sounds like we looked good for 3 points for 70 mins and then fell apart for reason many have stated on the match thread.
That's not much I else I can do with your post sorry.
